Ourbeliefs

Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world's largest Pentecostal denomination with some 55 million members and adherents in 211 nations. But numbers fail to tell the real story, and statistics can never meet human needs. People who need help in coming to know God, have problems in their home, or are troubled by any of a multitude of other things that keep people from being happy and fulfilled, need someone who cares. And that's the message of our Fellowship. Because Jesus cares for people, the Assemblies of God is people who care about each other.

We are committed to fulfilling a three-fold mission:

1.       To introduce non-believers to Jesus Christ;

2.       To provide an environment for worshiping God and fellowshipping with others who hold similar values and love for God;

3.       To effectively train and nurture believers.

Our History
The Assemblies of God has its roots in a religious revival that began in the late 1800s. In 1914 both preachers and laymen gathered from 20 states and several foreign countries for a "general council" in Hot Springs , Arkansas . Learn more about our history. For extensive historical and archival information, visit the Flower Pentecostal Heritage Center.
